ABA Therapist

Job Description
As an ABA Therapist you will receive training in the application of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT) as implemented with toddlers recently diagnosed with autism. You will conduct individual treatment sessions, monitor student progress, implement curriculum and receive ongoing training from senior staff and our Licensed Psychologist. This is available as a full time position.

Educational Requirements

  •     Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or related field


Other Requirements

  •     Prior experience teaching or working with young children is preferred
  •     Desire to learn from leaders in the field of autism


Orientation Process

  •     Prior to working with kids individually, all new personnel must demonstrate competency in our comprehensive modules of training.


Location
Our main office is located in Woodstock, (Cherokee County) GA, just off of I-575 at Hwy 92 -- a reasonable commute from Cherokee, Cobb, and parts of Fulton, Forsyth and Bartow County. Autism Center for Children staff typically spend their time teaching in our clinic, however, treatment also may occur in homes in our service area and local community settings.
