FREE Families First Workshop #4: Out and About, Preparing for Community Routines -- Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017
Autism Center for Children is partnering with Vanderbilt Kennedy Center’s Treatment and Research Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders (TRIAD) to deliver its Families First Program, a series of FREE workshops intended for parents of young children (ages 2-5) newly diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder. In March 2017, The Autism Center for Children proudly hosted Dr. John McEachin – a pioneer in the field of behavioral intervention and an internationally recognized researcher and author of A Work in Progress, from the renowned Autism Partnership in California. Dr. Julie Crittendon, the head of the Autism Center for Children, created a unique opportunity for children and families to sit in on one-on-one sessions with Dr. McEachin.
